Good value with academic pricing

I bought the Camtasia and Snagit Bundle using their academic pricing. I had to go through a verification process, which took a little while, but the discount made it worth it. I saved a good chunk of money compared to the regular price, which was important for my budget. The software itself is really powerful for what I paid. Overall, a solid purchase for value.

Camtasia is amazing!

I just got Camtasia for Windows and it's incredible! The video editor is so easy to use, even for someone like me. I've been wanting to make tutorial videos for ages and this is perfect. I'm definitely shopping here again for more tools and recommending it to all my friends!

Smooth Snagit upgrade process

I recently upgraded my Snagit for Mac license and purchased Snagit Maintenance. The ordering process was straightforward on their website. I received my new license key via email within minutes, which was great. Installation was simple and everything worked as expected right away. I haven't needed customer support, but the whole experience was efficient and seamless.

Snagit for quick captures

Got Snagit for Mac the other day. It was pretty easy to buy and download. I needed something simple for screen captures at work, and it does the job. No big issues or anything. It just works, you know? Good stuff.

Reliable tools for years

This is my third time buying from TechSmith, and I picked up an individual license for Audiate this time. Like my previous purchases of Snagit and Camtasia, the process was quick and easy. Their site is always well-organized, and I got my license key without any fuss. It's comforting to know I can count on them for reliable software and a consistent shopping experience.

Wondering about the return policy for Camtasia. What if I buy it and it's not quite what I need, can I get my money back?

R Rosa W. 3 months ago

I think they have a 30-day money-back guarantee, if I remember correctly from when I bought Snagit. You should be able to get a refund within that time.

Yeah, you have 30 days. Just contact their support. My friend returned Snagit once because he found a free alternative, no issues at all.

Hey, I'm thinking about getting Camtasia for my online course creation. Does TechSmith offer student discounts or anything like that? I'm still in college.

J Julia 2 months ago

Yeah, they totally do! I got a student discount last year for Snagit, saved a good chunk. You just gotta verify your student status during checkout, it's pretty straightforward.

Can confirm on the student discount. It's usually like 50% off the regular price if you're verified. Definitely worth it for Camtasia.

Is Camtasia a one-time purchase, or is it a subscription model now? I really hate subscriptions.

C Colin K. 2 months ago

It's a one-time purchase for the license. You can pay extra for 'maintenance' which gets you upgrades and support for a year, but the core license is yours forever.

M Mark 2 months ago

Still a one-time purchase! The maintenance is optional but good if you want the new versions when they come out without buying a whole new license.

I'm currently on an older version of Snagit. If I buy the new version, is there an upgrade discount or do I have to pay full price again?

N Neil 2 months ago

They usually have an upgrade discount for existing users. Check your account or look for 'upgrade' options on their site, it's usually cheaper than buying new.

2

D Dan 2 months ago

Yeah, there's always an upgrade path. You won't pay full price if you already own an older license, it's a pretty sweet deal.

Does anyone know if they offer a discount for non-profit organizations? My church could really use Snagit for bulletins and stuff.

N Neil S. 2 months ago

Yes, they do have non-profit pricing! You'll need to go through a verification process similar to the student discounts.

P Priya 2 months ago

Yep, my friend works for a small charity and got a good discount on Camtasia. Just check their site for the non-profit section, it'll tell you how to apply.
